GKP Update

After having received literally over 100 emails and many requests re ‘ GKP for an update i can only state that i have NOT updated on this company because plainly over the last month or so there has been nothing to update. News on the placing/fund raising is overdue here.  I have also been asked to restore the RNS ALERTS after due consideration i feel it is in the best interests of all concerned that if the system is used on here it MUST NOT be taken as an indication to invest. Every post on here is of a purely personal opinion and should not be taken as investment advice. Stocks can go up as well as down.

I am back at my station next week.

The fun will start!

Daniel

So they need to raise and awful lot of dough, $170m? What would this do to the share price, can anyone hazard a guess?

  2. daafei says:

It’s been mentioned that GKP management are currently in the US meeting investors (according to the FT).

Don’t ask Dan as he knows less than you do.

Dan – have you asked Todd to write you an article for the blog yet ?

Having roundly slagged off the CEO of NTOG – it is only fair that you request the same from Kozel.

The differences between the two are great. Matt Lofgran is a lie through his teeth estate agent while TK is a true oil man. Gkp drill a hole and announce flow rates. Ntog do their thing (whatever that is) and announce “flow rates very encouraging,” 5 months later still nothing. Stop making excuses for that pile of dog poo.

Hasn’t stopped GKP’s share price plummeting though has it?

You miss the point I am making. NO CEO would want to post on a blog of this nature, whether the CEO of NTOG, CEO of GKP or CEO of any blue chip company.

What’s more, I don’t even like posting on this, due to the disgusting comments.

        • Anonymous says:

They do have 15 wells to drill. No one is comparing them to GKP.

          • Anonymous says:

Gkp isn’t plummeting to where it was early last year as Ntog clearly is! Clearly there is something wrong over at nostra terror, why else would they not keep you lot informed with regards flow rates, they have had enough time.

£1.29 to around 70p is pretty bad.

          • Anonymous says:

You forget to mention Gkp’s low of 4p last year, it is now 20x that amount. Ntog is just barely 2x where we were last year. Really feel for you nostra terror shareholders. Still, you could always join the gkp bandwagon, plenty more upside here once funding and contracts are in place – at least we know there is shed loads of oil there. Same can’t be said for ntog I’m afraid.

40 per cent rise 18.5.2010 – must mean something ! CEO can’t be the terrorist/murderer/psychopath/liar/dog poo/religious nutcase he’s made out to be on the blog scene.

It means something alright, it means more gullible pi’s getting sucked into this dog of a share that is ultimately going nowhere. I wish you well but ‘beware of the dog!’

          • Anonymous says:

No. It means people buying and selling at a profit.

Read the last RNS from NTOG.

          • Anonymous says:

Are you referring to the May 11th rns? Holding in company one? No institutions on board there, all nominee accounts. No confidence there from the ii’s.

          • Anonymous says:

No, sorry not that one, which wasn’t interesting. RNS before that one.

  4. ethnic mic says:

Glad you are on the mend and off back to work – hope your back is feeling better.

We have certainly missed those RNS updates, and your timing is perfect with all the news that’s pending.

    Best wishes

    Mic

Dan, Can you confirm that GKP will be making an announcement next week. Someone has posted a list of companys with announcement types, GKP being one of them.

…forgot to add that it is expected on Wednesday 19th.

  7. Aardvark says:

The RNS alert has a pretty poor record of being right

    • Anonymous says:

I disagree, he has been right more times than wrong. Long may it continue.

    • trev says:

If you are all keen to find out when the next RNS is goign to be, why not register for RNS alerts to be sent to email and or phone.

There are quite a few out there and many are free, including some free SMS ones.

      Just google “free rns alerts”.

      Cheers

So…when does the fun start again? It’s wednesday now and it hasn’t started yet. Perhaps you should give up on this blog Danny boy before you loose all credibility. You’ve made a few wrong calls lately which have costed many pi’s quite a bit, if they bothered to listen that is. That is the whole point of this blog after all, I mean what would be the point of giving out the information you do if you didn’t expect readers to heed the advice given? What with the TRP fiasco and now the NTOG rise from the ashes, up nearly 50% yesterday. If anyone had believed what you had to say on either of them they could have lost an awful lot of money. My advice to you Dan is to not give up your day job Dan whatever that is? Stacking vegetables at the local supermarket perhaps? I jest of course but you get the point.

P.S Hope you are feeling better.

Dan – it’s no good criticizing a CEO for not posting on your blog when you are not even doing it yourself.
I’m sorry, but I’ve stopped fighting your corner.

OH MY GOD. You and your beloved CEO Miopus! Get over it! Are you in love with him or something? Be honest!???
