you might want to do someting about this:

    Registrant’s address:
    no8 DeQuincy Road, tottenham
    London
    N17 7DL
    United Kingdom

    • Brokerman says:

Why??? You have to have an address!!!! strange????

      Dan

      • Never Mind says:

cos you activated privacy on all the other ones, thought maybe you’d missed that one out is all.. was trying to do you a favour by telling you.

I think you’ll find that Dans not living there “NO WHERE”
    Some alphafools really are naive.

  5. manicleekteed says:

For starters, they probably didn’t make a boo boo, and secondly, FT Alphaville is a registered and recognised product.

If they want these domains back, they will get them back and whoever buys them will be out of pocket.

    Don’t fall for it.

    • Brokerman says:

I think you’ll find that they have no chance whatsoever of getting them back. Bought lock stock and barrel legally. I may even use them for a new web site I’m thinking of starting up. Who knows?
      Nice IP by the way!

      Dan

      • manicleekteed says:

What about my IP? Have you got your tin foil hat on again? Please do tell.

Also, I’m sure you did buy them legally, my point is, if they want them they can get them.

It’s a registered trademark, which means they can have them transferred back to them. Please take some time to look into it.

        • Brokerman says:

I don’t need to take the time to “look it up” I am fully conversant with all aspects of WIPO/ICANN. THE POINT IS THAT THEY CANNOT GET THEM. They have to go to arbitration which costs an arm and a leg. I bought them as an adjunct to the new site and in all honesty they will probabley be used to help the site grow. THE FT actually stands for Forward Thinking IT’S A WIN WIN SITUATION. All publicity greatfully accepted! Murdoch?? whats he got to do with it? Pearson group own the FT!

Well, if you’ve looked into and are comfortable that’s fair enough. I wouldn’t like to take the chance though. I’ve seen it happen many times.

Just so you know, I wasn’t trying to have a go at you, just warn anybody thinking about taking up the offer.

Also, another little bit of advice, you have already embarrassed yourself regarding IP addresses and tracking people down in the past. I know full well what my IP address says about my location etc, but I can assure, it isn’t accurate in the slightest.

            It’s out by a good 250 miles.

          • Brokerman says:

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? pray tell how have I embarrassed myself about ip address;s??? I think you’ll find that no ones ip remains static however the ip provider details do!
Jesus some real buffoons come on here. I said it was an interesting ip! That;s all!!!If you think i want to track you down then please shake your head.

            Dan

    • Never Mind says:

getting back international domains is a b****y site harder than .co.uk’s – no nominet arbitration = lots of expense

      • manicleekteed says:

It’s the Financial Times, remember who they are owned by?

Also, it can all be done via ICANN, and it would actually be less hastle than going through British Courts. Especially if you’re Mr Murdoch.

From the FT Alphaville ‘itchy and Scratchy’ show… Apparently GKP will be a supermajor (didn’t you say that back in 2009 Dan…?) + apparently BMD is persona non grata with the boys at FT Alphaville…

    NH
    small cap corner time
    NH
    and really
    NH
    only one place to start
The next supermajor, potentially sitting on 60bn barrels of oil in Kurdistan. Loved by m*ppets across the globe.
    Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd (GKP:LSE): Last: 149.50, up 3.5 (+2.40%), High: 151.25, Low: 144.25, Volume: 1.21m
    BE
    Hooray!
    NH
(Anyone mentioned BMD – gets life. OK. That’s the first and final warning)

    • Brokerman says:

It’s a shame really that two so called professional financial Journalists seek to undermine GKP. They have risen from 12p to over 200p at one point and are now on the verge of a main market listing. Unfortunately for Nealanderthall and his musty snide kick they have been proved totally wrong on GKP and quite a few others XEL being one. Strange about the 2009 quote as I dont recall saying any such thing the blog only really kicked off in 2010. Any company that has a billion pound cap is well on the way to becoming a super-major. After all they were once 20p!! The sad point is that both these chaps hurl abuse at retail punters and Bloggers due to their lack of self-worth. A right pair of Plonkas!

  8. MikeST says:

Re the 2009 GKP mention, you posted it on the iii GKP board, just before you got red carded off it.
